On October 2008 as a commitment to bringing more Afterschool Programs Barrio Action Youth & Family Center  and Live Arts Group began a series of Music Video Workshops that will came to an end in November. The program, which includes peer and instructor evaluations at several stages, requires participants to create ideas for pieces of approved contemporary music that contain positive messages, then write, shoot and edit the videos with   professional guidance and assistance. On November 22, 2008 students from Barrio Action and Live Arts Group successfully hosted a screening of their Music Videos. 100 Community members attended and showed support for this great project in El Sereno.
